The CANivore is a USB to high speed CAN network device made by CTRE. This device allows teams to wire Talon FX controlled motors, and other CTRE CAN devices onto a separate CAN bus to improve performance.
CANivore Wiring
The CANivore gets powered from a 2 A fused port on a Power Distribution Hub, Power Distribution Panel 2.0, or Mini Power Module. It can also be powered from a 2 A port on a Voltage Regulator Module. The USB A connector is connected into one of the USB A ports on the RoboRIO, RoboRIO2, or SystemCore. Yellow and green CAN wires are run from the remaining ports.
