The 2016 FIRST Robotics Competition season, Stronghold, was the team’s third season competing.
The Game
In Stronghold, teams crossed defenses placed by the opposing alliance to access their keep, and then attempted to score boulders into the high and low goals to score points. The teams also got points for climbing the tower at the end of the match.

The Robot

The team’s robot for that season was named Sir Cyr, after a graduating student from the 2015 Recycle Rush season. The robot used a pneumatic wheel West Coast Drive to defeat the terrain based defenses, and had an arm to overcome defenses that needed to be interacted with. The robot could score in both the low and high goals, using vision to align with the high goal.
