The 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition season, Infinite Recharge, was the team’s seventh season competing.
The Game
In Infinite Recharge, teams shot power cells into low and high goals, and rotate the control panel. At the end of the match, teams would climb on their generator switch, attempting to balance it.

The team’s robot that season was named Slim Jim after a graduating student from the 2019 Destination Deep Space season. The robot used a Coleson wheel tank drive, with an bumper split intake and a turret shooter. It also had spring-loaded climbers.

Durham College District Event
The team’s first event of the 2020 season was the Durham College competition. Through 12 qualification matches, the team went 7-5, seeding 4th. The team captained alliance 3, and were eliminated in the semifinals. The team also won the Engineering Inspiration Award.

COVID-19
Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020, the FIRST Robotics Competition season was originally suspended, but was eventually completely canceled. The team ended the season ranked 14th in Ontario.
