The 2024 FIRST Robotics Competition season, Crescendo, was the team’s eleventh season competing.
The Game
In Crescendo, teams collected notes from their loading station and shot them into a speaker or amp. At the end of the match, teams would pull up on a chain and score a note in the trap.

The team’s robot that year was named Cujo. The robot used a swerve drive, had an under the bumper intake and a shooter. The robot also had hooks for climbing, and a swinging mechanism to score in the trap. The team also built an “alternate configuration” for the 2024 robot named Zeus, designed to be used in playoff matches. This configuration did not have a trap mechanism, but was faster.

Humber College District Event
The team’s first event of the 2024 season was the Humber College competition. Through 12 qualification matches, the team went 9-3, seeding 1st. The team captained alliance 1, and were the event finalists. The team also won the Gracious Professionalism Award.
Windsor Essex Great Lakes District Event
The team’s second event was the Windsor competition. Through 12 qualification matches, the team went 11-1, seeding 2nd. The team was the 1st pick of alliance 1, and were the event winners. The team also won the Team Spirit Award.
Ontario Provincial Championship
From the team’s performance at qualifying events, the team was invited to the provincial championship, and was placed in the Science division. Through 12 qualification matches, the team went 8-4, seeding 4th. The team captained alliance 3, and were the divisional finalists. The team also won the Innovation in Control Award. With the season’s performance, the team finished 4th in Ontario, and qualified for the world championship.
World Championship
The team was placed in the Archimedes division at the world championship. Through 10 qualification matches, the team went 7-3, seeding 15th. The team was the 2nd pick of alliance 4, and went 3-2 in the playoffs, being eliminated in match 13.
